Beacon Hill is a suburb located in northern Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Part of the Northern Beaches Council, Beacon Hill is 17 kilometres northeast of the Sydney Central Business District. Beacon Hill acquired its title when a trigonometric beacon was built by the Department of Lands there in the year 1881.
