Acacia Gardens is a suburb of Sydney located 31 km from its capital, in the local government area of the City of Blacktown. This north-western residential suburb was previously a part of Quakers Hill. The name Acacia Gardens is derived from the environmental situation of the place in which acacia trees are widespread in the said suburb. Acacia Gardens became an official suburb of Sydney in New South Wales, Australia in 1996 and is a part of the Greater Western Sydney region. As a small area considered to be a part of Hills District on its southern end, there is only one primary school that can be found in the suburb which is the Quakers Hill East Primary School. However, there are also two other public primary schools (Barnier and Hambledon), high schools (Quakers Hill High, Wyndham and Glenwood High), catholic primary (Mary Immaculate and Blessed John XXIII Primary) and high schools (Terra Sancta College and St Mark’s Catholic College) from nearby suburbs that residents can look into.
