North Wahroonga, situated on Sydney`s picturesque Upper North Shore in New South Wales, Australia, is positioned 23 kilometers to the northwest of Sydney`s bustling central business district and falls under the jurisdiction of the Ku-ring-gai Council. Notably bounded by the F3 Sydney-Newcastle Freeway to the west and the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park to the north, this suburb bears an Aboriginal name, "Wahroonga," signifying "our home." In the early days of British settlement, the area was primarily known for timber logging, with European settlers arriving in the early 19th century. Orchards flourished in the region, and by the 1920s and 1930s, it became an attractive location for affluent businessmen to establish countryside residences with expansive gardens. As of the 2016 Census, North Wahroonga was home to 1,998 residents, primarily of Australian and English descent, with English being the predominant language spoken, and a diverse mix of religious affiliations, including No Religion, Anglican, and Catholic.
