Naremburn, a suburb nestled on Sydney`s lower North Shore in New South Wales, Australia, is situated approximately 6 kilometers north of the city`s central business district within the governance of the City of Willoughby. The origin of its name, dating back to the 1800s, remains uncertain, though it was initially known as Central Township. Land grants in the area were awarded to Humphrey Evans and Peter Dargan in 1794.
