About Blackheath
An Australian town near the highest point of the Blue Mountains, Blackheath is located between Katoomba and Mount Victoria, in the state of New South Wales. The elevation of Blackheath is 1, 605 meters above sea level. The town possesses an artistic community that regularly hosts two monthly markets; the Blackheath Growers Market and the Blackheath Community Market. The town also hosts annual Christmas markets, bimonthly craft markets, and antique markets. As the town has grown, more shops have been built but some shops from the late 1800s still stand strong in Blackheath.
