About Bilpin
On the west side of Sydney, New South Wales, Bilpin is a small town along the historic Bells Line of Road in the local government area of the City of Hawkesbury in the Blue Mountains. The area is famous for its fruit orchards and gardens that thrive in the fertile soil hence it gained the name “Land of the Mountain Apple”. Bilpin is also known for its roadside stalls which sell homemade products, especially during summer. At the centre of Bilpin, the Bilpin Community Hall can be found. It is the venue for the Farmer’s Market every Saturday morning between ten and twelve, it also hosts the annual Spring Flower Show, the Mount Wilson to Bilpin Run in August, and the annual quilt exhibition.
